It’s been bothering me for a long time so I had to say something about it

Agreed, this argument is fucking stupid. I played with Barbies as a kid and never once thought that this is how I should look or ever compared myself to her. She is not supposed to look a real woman because she is a doll.
I’m on the fence about this, but from what I hear girls with half a brain don’t think they have to look like barbie.
Which makes sense. I played with He Man and Transformers, and never thought I should be overly buff or a car. That’s so insensitive, Brett! Boys the world over suffer major from major body dysmorphia because they aren’t made of metal and can’t turn into a car.
GizmaaaTalks: This is like the Greeks, this like the Romans… Geishas, Clowns, black body suits… Barbie was a figure to project a better image. Something imaginative. And who is to tell anyone that they cannot look like barbie Naturally, had they done what Barbie did. She went to school, she played in activities, Barbie went out and lived an active yet safe life. Those woman who are like Barbie, like a roman goddess, like pin-up girl, like maybe your mother in ways… All stand to hide a few flaws, in hopes of inspiring the next subject; like the projection of “Hope”. Because flaws only come from mistakes and mishaps. Everything different on my body, from the next female, is because I wanted it so. We have made the changes in our appearance to project what we feel on the inside. And those who are unwilling to change, project their inner fixations. The woman above lived a different life than Barbie, and did not try to immulate what she wasnt - she was not Barbie. So, why should she be upset if someone told her, “You don’t look like this doll, which is a figure of only One kind of woman.” If she was to become upset, than she doesn’t know WHO she is or WHAT she wanted. Plastic doesnt make you sad.
